Matt Curtin to present at Financial Aid Administration Conference

Matt Curtin will give his perspective as a computer forensic analyst on fraud in the financial aid industry at the OASFAA Conference on May 7.

Columbus, OH—Interhack founder Matt Curtin will present on fraud in the financial aid industry at the Ohio Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators Spring Conference on May 7. He'll give his perspective as a computer forensic analyst; revealing his analysis of electronic information in different industries.

What is normal? How do you detect abnormal? When does the abnormal become fraud?

Mr. Curtin will discuss techniques for data analysis to help attendees develop an understanding of what is possible and how to recognize when further investigation may be warranted. Using his experience working with transactional data in litigation and developing expert opinion in support of fraud analysis, he will show how detection of and response to abnormality fits into the larger picture of fraud detection and loss prevention.
