Careers in Information Assurance

The University of Findlay welcomes computer science expert and Interhack Founder Matt Curtin to tell students the realities of bringing computing expertise to bear on legal questions.

Columbus, OH—The University of Findlay welcomes computer science expert and Interhack Founder Matt Curtin to speak on campus on April 13, 2012. Curtin will give a one hour presentation—Careers in Information Assurance

In 2012, the University of Findlay's College of Sciences Faculty Chair events are focused on convergence and collaboration. Interhack has long worked at the intersection of computer science and law. With more than a decade of experience in this application of computer science, Curtin shares with students the realities of bringing computing expertise to bear on legal questions. Curtin built Interhack's elite consulting practice from the ground up, starting out as a self-funded research group in the area of privacy and security in large scale networks in the late 1990s. 

After the presentation, Curtin speaks with individual students who are interested in developing a career in the field of information security and will accept applications from promising candidates. This event is held at the University of Findlay’s campus in the Davis Building.
