Sankardas Roy, PhD
Sankardas Roy joined Interhack as a Visiting Scientist in 2024. Bringing his academic background in computer science covering such topics as forensic data analysis, networking, and security to the firm, he now works in the firm’s forensic computing and cybersecurity practices.
While on sabbatical from Bowling Green State University, Sankar analyzes data and reports findings that help to tell the story of information systems’ use, with particular focus on consistency with legal theories or governing policies. He is using this industrial experience to enhance academic understanding of industrial needs and to improve pathways for students to enter the field in professional practice.
Sankar holds a PhD in Information Technology from George Mason University, MS in Computer Science from Indian Statistical Institute in India, and BS in Electrical Engineering from Bengal Engineering College in India.
