Interhack Welcomes Pete Ware

Pete Ware joins Interhack, bringing additional expertise to its forensic analysis and information security practices.

Interhack is happy to announce that Pete Ware has joined the firm as a computer scientist, focusing in the forensic analysis and system security practice areas.

Most recently, Pete was Director of Engineering at Starbak Communications. He managed a team of twenty software developers working on award winning multimedia streaming and video conferencing middleware. Previously, Pete was a Lecturer at The Ohio State University's Department of Computer and Information Science, where he still holds a part-time appointment.

When asked about his new position Pete said, "It's great to be at a company that's interested in both corporate security, personal privacy issues, and practices what it preaches: the first thing we did was arrange health insurance without using my SSN and the second was establishing secure Internet communication. Additionally, I've known Matt Curtin for many years and have great respect for his knowledge and technical expertise".

Pete's research interests include operating systems, software methodology, computing theory, and algorithms. He holds an MS in Computer and Information Science from The Ohio State University and a BA in Computer Science from the University of California at San Diego.
