Shibboleth 2.2.0 Available

Version 2.2.0 of our privacy and security aware mailing list manager has been released. This release includes a new feature: killing free mailer ads and addresses an important weakness in PGP signature generation.

Version 2.2.0 of Shibboleth, the privacy and security aware mailing list manager, is now available.

Changes

This release of Shibboleth addresses a weakness in the digital signature implementation that would make it possible for a malicious attacker to change the context of a message or the sender's identity from one Shibboleth user to another of the same list family. Also included is a new feature for killing the annoying free mailer advertisements.

Shibboleth is distributed under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) from SourceForge.
