Internet Security (An Overview)
Matt Curtin
Interhack Corporation
April 11, 2002
The Internet has dramatically changed the
architecture of business. We're now living in a
time of unprecedented connectivity. People can
be reached by their customers and co-workers like
never before. Without giving attention to
security from the beginning, busineses can also be
vulnerable as never before. We'll discuss the
Internet as an architecture for information and
introduce strategies to address the security
problem.
The one-hour talk will be delivered at 7:15 p.m.,
following a social hour and dinner that begins at
5:30 p.m. on April 11, 2002. We'll be at the
Berwick Manor Party House in Columbus, Ohio, 3250
Refugee Road. The meeting is open to members and
non-members. (Members: $10.00, Non-Members:
$20.00, Students: $7.00.) Registration is
required.
