Assessing Risk in Information Systems

Despite extensive work to build reliable risk
assessment models in business, insurance, and
finance, assessing risk in information systems
remains a mystery, with few organizations
understanding what risks they're taking with their
information infrastructures. Understanding risk
assessment models and how they can be adapted to
information technology is a crucial component of
risk management in business today. Requirements
of risk assessment models will be considered along
with the state of information technology and its
ability to address these requirements.
