The Columbus InfoSec Forum
Infragard,
Information
Systems Security Association (ISSA) and
Information Systems
Audit and Control Association (ISACA) have
formed the Columbus InfoSec Forum. Since September
11, 2001, there is a heightened awareness at all
levels of public and private organizations for the
need to increase physical and information
security. Primary to this effort are education,
training, sharing information and the
collaboration between government and private
sectors, all of which are functions these
professional associations currently provide.
Together, as the Columbus InfoSec Forum, we hope
to become more visible and accessible to the
central Ohio community and extend the valuable
resources of each association to new members.
Quarterly events are planned to promote greater
awareness in the community of security issues,
provide valuable and timely resources and an open
door to guests interested in meeting the local
InfoSec community. For more information, please
contact Michael Radigan, Committee Chairman at
MRadigan@columbus.rr.com.
