Hugh Cathey
(Interim) President, Interhack Title Management, Ltd.

Bringing considerable experience in technology and telecommunications with him to Interhack's newly formed real estate title management company, Hugh leads the effort to bring the Protégé service to market. He has over twenty years of senior leadership experience in managing corporations while guiding very rapid revenue growth.

Previously, Mr. Cathey served as President of Qwest Communications International broadband division. From start-up in January of 2000, this division grew to $219 million in revenue in calendar 2001. With over 800 employees and an annual budget of over $300 million dollars, it was one of the fastest growing divisions of Qwest Communications.

Prior to Qwest, Mr. Cathey served as President of NextLink Midwest, which is the second largest independent telecom provider in the United States. This organization later became known as XO Communication and has current revenues of $1.5 billion with over 5,500 employees. Prior to NextLink, he served as president and CEO of several start-up, early stage and mature technology companies.
