What We Believe

INTEGRITY

We partner with our customers.

When we approach a problem, we strive to understand the business case: where the organization is now and where it needs to be. Then we can assess where the technology is, what it's capable of doing, and what changes--if any--need to be made to help the organization get where it needs to be.

Integrity also means that our folks are going to say what they think and why. We're not going to choose a "safe path" with a dominant vendor because it's going to be "easier". When we make a recommendation, it's because we believe it's the best available option.

Many consultants partner with various vendors in order to receive behind-the-scenes discounts, kickbacks, and other incentives from vendors. Others receive vendor-specific "certifications". These are highly motivated to support the vendors who support them. Go ahead and ask your consultant what the difference is between the product they're recommending and a competitor's. Will your consultant recommend something that gives him the biggest kickback or what best fits your needs?

We eschew such alliances--our only interest is our client's best interest. Never are we faced with the question of whether to recommend something that supports those who support us or what does the best job. We must remain focused on our client's best interests because we chose not to pursue a quintillion dollar venture capital package that gets us on the IPO fast track.

This industry is so full of "almost correct" solutions, allowed to exist by lackadaisical problem solving, insufficient time to consider problems, and many who are driven by nothing more than profit. Yeah, we make money, but we're doing so by providing valuable services, not by selling our souls to the highest bidder.

Our passion, expertise, and focus afford us the opportunity to avoid these traps, to do the very best job possible. Call us optimists if you must, but we believe that if we do a good job supporting our customers, they'll support us.
